Opioid Crisis/Mental Health Educational Session


The Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office is inviting the greater Dexter community to a conversation about the Mental Health/Substance Use Disorder /Opioid Crisis in Washtenaw County. It will be taking place on Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Mill Creek Middle School, 7305 Dexter Ann Arbor Rd, Dexter, 48130. 

Subject matter experts will provide information, people will share stories, but most of the event will involve listening and getting input from community members about how to address this crisis. There will be resource/service providers from Dexter SRSLY Coalition, Community Mental Health, CMHPSM, Washtenaw Alive Suicide Prevention Coalition, Public Health, St. Joes’, U of M, Home of New Vision, etc. available for one-on-one conversations before and after the forum for a ½ hour to 45 minutes. Please attend--too many families are being devastated by this crisis.
