Start the evening with dinner at Clara\'s Train Station prior to heading to the Wharton Center to see the smash hit Broadway musical "Million Dollar Quartet."

Enjoy a day at the Pops concert with Gershwin and the American Songbook, "They Can\'t Take That Away From Me."  The music of George Gershwin will fill the Orchestra Hall as Ann Hampton Callaway sings the best of Gershwin's songbook like: "So wonderful, So marvelous" and more.  Trip includes coffee and donuts, seating and snack on ride back.

Join us for an afternoon to see one of the greatest artists of all times as we view the works of Rembrandt and the Face of Jesus.  Rembrandt broke from traditional 17th-century representations of Jesus and created the paintings that protray Jesus and events described in the Bible.  The trip includes transportation where you will be dropped off at the door, admission and a snack.

Windsor Raceway Slots

Take a day and go to Canada to play slots at the Raceway Slots.  Each person receives $20 in slot play.  MUST have a passport, passport card or enhanced driver\'s license.

Purple Rose Theatre

Join us for an afternoon of lunch and theatre.  We will serve pizza, salad and dessert at the Senior Center then travel to the Purple Rose Theatre to see the play, "A Stone Carver."  Old world beliefs collide with new world principles when Agostino, a retired stone mason is evicted from his home to make space for a highway.  When he barricades himself in his house, his son Raff must convince him to leave the house and all the memories that come with it.  A funny and touching tribute to fathers and sons.

South Pacific at the FOX

This evening is designed to please musical lovers.  We begin at the nostalgic Joe Muer\'s Seafood Restaurant, a place that has been celebrated for re-opening its doors in the beautiful GM World Headquarters Building on the river.  Your plated dinner will include your choice of wine or cocktail.  After dinner we will travel to the Fox Theater for our main floor center stage seating for the classic, South Pacific; set on a tropical island during WWII.  This romanticc story will sweep you off your feet, it doesn\'t float; it soars!

This is a thank you trip presented by Shoreline Tours. 
We have traveled with them for several years either on day trips or extended trips.  They are presenting this great trip at a very reduced rate to thank our Center for traveling with them.  We will be traveling to Canada so you will need a passport, passport card or enhanced drivers license.  We will be visiting the John Freeman Wall Historic Site.  The Windsor area was a terminal of the famous "Underground Railroad," the first freedom movement in America.  You will enjoy a comprehensive tour of this remarkable landmark.  Then a visit to Willistead Manor - a 36 room mansion home of Edward Walker, son of whisky baron Hiram Walker.  A visit to Sprucewood Shores Winery located on 52 acres.  Lunch will be at the famous Caldwells Grant, Amherstburg, Ontario\'s best restaurant.  The building was built in 1836.
