State Primary Election - Aug. 2nd

The State Primary election will be here soon! Here are a few reminders:

**** This is a PRIMARY election. A primary election is an election that narrows the field of candidates before an election for office. When voting during a Primary Election, you may only vote for candidates from ONE PARTY. Cross ticket voting (voting for both Republican and Democratic candidates) will spoil your ballot, and you will have to start over with a new ballot.

To save you time at the polls, it is a good idea to review the ballot prior to election day. SAMPLE BALLOTS are available at the Township office and on-line at

**** Absent Voter (AV) ballots are available at the Township Clerk's office. If you would like to receive an AV Ballot, please contact the Clerk's Office at 734-449-2880 ext. 14, or you can print an application from our web site to drop off or mail in. A ballot will then be issued to you.…

Absent Voter Ballots can be issued through August 1st. We will be open on Saturday, July 30th from 8:00am-2:00pm for AV Ballot requests. If you request an AV Ballot on August 1st, you MUST vote in-house.
