Northfield Township is pleased to Announce Tami Averill as our new Community Center Director. 

Recently, the Township Board decided to change both the center name and director's title from that of Senior Center to Community Center. This change was made in order to market to a broader audience and provide programming opportunities to the entire community.   It is the Board's intention and dedication to keep the existing center programming in place while looking at additional programming options.  While this sounds like a major shift, the new director’s focus will be first and foremost to maintain the existing programming and the needs of the center's current audience.  

The center is funded 100% by the taxpayers in Northfield Township.  The township board is working diligently to maximize the available taxpayer resources for Northfield residents and we hope that this change is a step in the right direction.   The center is a phenomenal asset and we hope to provide that asset to many more individuals. 

We look forward to continuing our commitment in providing outstanding service to the Northfield community.
