2016 Winter Tax Deadlines

2016 Winter Property Tax Deadlines are quickly approaching.

Have you paid your taxes?

2016 Winter Taxes are due by Tuesday, February 14, 2017. Our office will be open until 5:00pm on the 14th to accept tax payments.  After 5:00pm on February 14th, there will be penalties and interest assessed to any unpaid taxes.  Payments must be received in our office by the 14th to avoid penalty.  Post Marks are NOT accepted.

Starting on Wednesday, February 15th through Tuesday, February 28th, 2017, taxes are still payable at the Township Office with 1% penalty and interest added.  We will be open until 5:00pm on February 28th to accept tax payments.  As of March 1, 2017 all unpaid 2016 property taxes will be turned over to Washtenaw County for collection, and additional fees and interest will be added by the county.   After March 1st, all tax questions should be directed to the Washtenaw County Treasurer’s office.
