Policy on Public Participation at Board of Trustee Meetings

Residents are encouraged to contact the Board of Trustees with any questions or concerns they may have.  An opportunity to speak to the board is provided at each board meeting during the "Petitions and Communications" periods  provided at the beginning and end of each meeting.

The purpose of public comment is to provide an opportunity for a member of the public to speak directly to the board. The role of the board is to listen attentively.  Speakers are asked to keep their comments to 3 minutes or less.

  • All members of the public speaking during “Public Comment” will need to state their name and address for the record.
  • The Board’s role is to listen to the care and concerns of the community.
  • The board or a designee will follow up concerning the comments as soon as possible when necessary.  Please contact the township office if you have any additional questions.
